About Ivania Perez
Ivania Perez practices Business Litigation and Employment Law. She has assisted clients in a diverse range of business disputes both in state and federal court, including, but not limited to intellectual property litigation, securities litigation, employment litigation, construction litigation, enforcement of non-competition agreements, and bankruptcy litigation involving the defense of preferential transfer claims. Ms. Perez also counsels companies and individuals on employment matters, including employment contracts, non-competition agreements, discrimination litigation, hiring practices, separation issues, employee handbooks and policies, unemployment compensation and compliance with other state and federal employment laws.
Prior to joining RFWS, Ivania interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida where she primarily assisted in the drafting and preparation of appellate briefs submitted to the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals on a variety of matters, including, employment disputes, constitutional violations and civil matters. She is a member of the Florida Bar, Jacksonville Bar Association and is a member of the Chester Bedell American Inn of Court.
